While your PaysafeCard prepaid credit does not expire, after 30 days, PaysafeCard will charge a monthly service fee of €4, or the equivalent amount in other currencies, for any remaining credit on your prepaid balance unless you are registered for a PaysafeCard account. Be sure to load your code into your account before those 30 days to avoid this fee. Once redeemed on a PaysafeCard account, you have 12 months to use it. From the 13th month on, you will be charged a monthly inactivity fee of €2 (or the equivalent amount in other currencies) to your account so be sure to use your credit within a year!

• Yes, if you want to add a 16-digit PIN to your myPaysafe account, the country of the PIN must match the country of your account.

• If you use the 16-digit PIN directly to pay online without a myPaysafe account, acceptance depends on the merchant and any applicable regional restrictions.

Using a PaysafeCard is essentially free, but some additional fees could apply. Remember to redeem your code to your PaysafeCard account within 30 days to avoid a €4 service fee (or the equivalent amount in other currencies) and to make a purchase using your prepaid credit within 12 months to avoid a €5 inactivity cost. These fees do not apply to users in the United States.

For United States only: $2 will be deducted from the available balance of the PIN after 24 months of inactivity.

Simply enter the PaysafeCard 16-digit PIN upon checkout on websites that accept PaysafeCard as a payment method. Your prepaid credit will be used to cover your purchase or payment. Any remaining credit can be used during later transactions. You can use your prepaid credit for almost any kind of online payment, including online gaming, online shopping, or streaming services. While it is not possible to recharge a PaysafeCard or PIN itself, you can create a myPaysafe account and top up your balance there using your PaysafeCard PIN. Keep in mind that in order to do so, the country you bought the prepaid code in, must match the country of your account.

Use the PaysafeCard balance check to see how much prepaid credit you have left. You can also check your balance in the PaysafeCard app for iOS or Android. 

Before you can use a PaysafeCard with a value over €50 (or an equal amount in another currency) you will be asked to create a myPaysafe account. It comes with many advantages though! You can store and register all your PINs in one place, block or unblock them, track your transaction history, and even request a refund. Similar to paying with PayPal, it’s becoming more common to pay with your myPaysafe account balance.
